To make a jasmine accord you usually have to include something that smells like banana to make the scent more realistic. It’s one of those things where most people don’t realize jasmine has a banana note until they smell a jasmine accord without it and it falls flat. You’re probably just more sensitive to the banana note than I am, and maybe you’re more sensitive how it’s done in this fragrance than other jasmine fragrances. Pear notes can also smell a bit like banana sometimes.
